With urban areas out of bounds in the lockdown I have been photographing in Sydney bushland.
This can be challenging for camera gear as much of the bush around Sydney contains masses of fine foliage with shiny leaves which reflect the sunlight falling on them.
Subject brightness range is often very high due to the frequency of fine clear days with hard direct sunlight and minimal haze.
The Canon EOS R5 with RF 35mm f1.8 lens can handle these conditions very well. The body delivers high dynamic range and both body and lens offer a very high level of resolution, sharpness and clarity.
Image stabilisation combining IBIS in the body with IS in the lens allow hand held work anytime during the day.
The 35mm lens enables half macro subject enlargement which is enough for the wildflowers which grow in abundance.
